CONOWINGO
Drift down the Susquehanna River, wandering amongst hydro-electric dams, nuclear cooling towers, flocking wildlife photographers, and millennia-old petroglyphs, asking what glimpses of our future can be found in the past.
Moving amongst Conowingo Dam, Three Mile Island, the Safe Harbor Petroglyphs, and the river itself, Conowingo intertwines a multitude of seemingly disparate landscapes. From opportunistic Bald Eagles to invasive Spotted Lantern Flies, this film examines the altered ecology of these spaces, tying them to the human history of extraction upon the landscape.
